Interior Design
Many of my images are very graphic and colourful in nature and lend themselves to being reproduced at a large size, either as a fine art print or as a canvas, to be used for interior design purposes. Several images have already been purchased for this purpose and shows like Inner City City at which I have exhibited for the past two years, prove that the contemporary style is very much sought after at the moment. As all of my images have been taken with a high resolution digital camera, reproducing at a large size is not a problem and in the case of canvas for example, it is often possible to reproduce even larger.
Whether you are looking for a large centre-piece as the focal point for a room, or some smaller pictures to decorate walls or living spaces, I am sure you will find something suitable either in one of the galleries or by having a look through the images in the Photoblog. Please take a look and if you see something you like and would like to discuss how best to have it produced, such as on canvas or watercolour paper, please do contact me. Even if you don’t see anything suitable do get in contact - I have thousands of images in my library and I am sure that with a few details from you such as subject matter or style, colour or imagery, I will be able to send you some sample images to consider. Commissions are also very welcome should you be looking for something specific - such as a portrait of a dog or horse, favourite view or city scene for example.
To match with existing interior colours, styles or designs, images can be produced as monochrome using sepia tones or black and white for example. Duo-tones where a blend of two colours are used or other artistic adaptations can also be achieved. Suitable images can be reproduced as three individually separate images, called triptychs
A triptych (pronounced “trip-tick,” from the Greek tri- “three” + ptych? “fold”) is a work of art (usually a panel painting) which is divided into three sections, or three carved panels which are hinged together. The central panel is the most important one, and this is flanked on either side by two lesser but related paintings. The whole is intended to be greater than the sum of the parts.
Whatever ideas you may have, or whatever your needs may be, please get in contact to discuss. I will be very pleased to help.
